New look, new tour!

Dear friends of Pagus, we finally find ourselves on this blog again, with a completely renewed look. And finally we can reveal to you the new tour, which we have been working on for a few months now! Espresso & Amarone, a tour that combines the aromas of coffee with those of Amarone della Valpolicella, two Italian excellences renowned throughout the world.

This is a half-day tour, departing in the morning from Verona, to start the day with a nice boost of energy. The first stop is, in fact, the Caffè Roen roastery, a family business from Verona that for more than forty years has been selecting, blending and roasting the best raw coffees in the world every day, packaging them within 24 hours of roasting. Here we will have the opportunity to discover all the secrets of the production of coffee beans, from its origin to packaging. Obviously, to conclude the experience, a tasting of different coffee blends cannot be missing, which will help us to better appreciate their specific aromas and particularities.

Afterward, we will move to the Valpolicella area, a land of fine full-bodied red wines, among which Amarone stands out. Along the way, we will be able to admire the wonder of its hills and vineyards. We will stop in one of the many wineries scattered throughout the area. Here we will explore all phases of production, from the selection and harvesting of the grapes, the drying, the fermentation and aging process, up to the bottling of the finished product. To conclude the morning, a moment of conviviality: the guided tasting of at least four wines produced by the company (including Amarone!), accompanied by some appetizers.

Are you curious to discover all the work that is hidden inside a cup of Italian Espresso or in a glass of Amarone della Valpolicella? Join this brand new tour, for a morning of education, tasting and fun!
