Description
Tasting Notes
Intense ruby red, with bright reflections tending, with aging, to an elegant old brick. Ripe fruit is the main scent on the nose: dried plum, cooked pear; then spices, such as pepper, softened by a balsamic and ethereal note. It leaves the palate satisfied with a wide range of persistent aftertaste and with a slight sensation of pipe tobacco and light spices. Good balance thanks to the round tannin, balanced by freshness and softness.
Food pairings
Due to its characteristics of pleasantness and structure, it can accompany winter first courses, main courses of meat, grilled meats, meats and medium-aged cheeses.
