The Fugolo Gianluca Farm has its roots in Pescantina, at the foot of Valpolicella, a few steps from Lake Garda. For four generations the Fugolo family has dedicated itself to the cultivation of peaches, grapes and olives. Today the company is run by Gianluca and his daughters, Sofia and Michela (the fifth generation), whose passion and love for the land have been thanks to the work and commitment of their father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
In 2017 Sofia and Michela decided to embark on a new adventure after years of delivering grapes: they would produce their own wine and sell it with their own label. Michela, after studying oenology in Trento, began working as an oenologist, producing classic Valpolicella wines with grapes from their vineyard located in San Pietro in Cariano and wonderful white, rosé and red IGTs, which perfectly enhance the terroir of their vineyard in Pescantina.
In parallel with the opening of the winery, they have started a very interesting hospitality project, coordinated by Sofia, to introduce their wonderful territory to foreign tourists, and (why not?) to rediscover it also to locals. The experiences in the countryside that they offer are truly varied and inviting: the blossoming of the peach trees, the awakening of spring among the vineyards, picnics under the stars and the harvest of peaches and grapes.
